Our Instant Hot Water Dispensers deliver near-boiling water right at your kitchen sink. An under-the-sink tank heats the water to approximately 200º F. As the heated water is used, tap water enters the tank for quick heating. (Our Series 1100 models also provide cool filtered drinking water.)

A fast recovery system can supply up to 60 cups of near-boiling water per hour. Yet each dispenser uses less energy than a 40-watt light bulb.

How it Works

When you activate the handle on your InSinkErator® instant hot water dispenser, cool tap water flows into the tank and displaces the near-boiling water, which flows out of the spout. Release the handle, and the valve closes automatically so hot water stops flowing. The cool water is then heated to approximately 200°F, and flows into the expansion chamber where it’s ready for later use.
